Slipped my mind that Beaudelir and I patrolled the road to the Ironwood yesterday. All was quiet, save for a group of wayfarers we dispersed along the way. Familiarized Beaudelir with how patrols were conducted, what they entail, and what not.

I was taking one last casual stroll along the road before turning in for the night and happened to notice that the city of Vesper has been invaded by ophidians and wyverns. Junior Dragoon Redfield and myself met up and patrolled the crap out of some matriarchs and knight-errants.



After seeing the creatures arrive as quickly as we smashed them to bits, we decided to sleep on it. It will probably all blow over by the morning.

and friends.
Soon bodies lay everywere dust blew across the quiet yet bloody and bony graveyard an there in the mist two figures appeared from the Burning tomb

We did a small patrol of Cove, seeking any disturbances or/and illegal substances in the town. To our delight, we found nothing of the sort, apart from that darned town crier jumpin' on that bed and those houses in a filthy state.
Apart from that lot, all was clear!

Patrol of the Covian Shire

After arriving at the barracks, I had suggested we go on a patrol of the area to secure the town, after the gruesome attack last night I felt the need to capture the perpetrator was a neccesity. Jack had decided to lead the patrol, but no other soldiers had shown up so we headed out. Jack and I had a good chat, but we found nothing in the surrounding area save a couple skeletons and a Troll who seemed quite lost. We quickly returned to the barracks and decided to call it a night.

It was a rather short patrol checking up on the citizens. Minor trouble was encountered and no force was used to restore order. Only a few citizens were reprimanded and asked to clean their house.

A patrol of the road from Cove to the Vesper Inn

It started as a simple patrol, Veldrin (myself) and Vlad walking along the road from Cove to Vesper. We encountered a wyvern and quickly dealt its death. Its master, an ophidian spellcaster, slithered to us to defend its pet, only to be cut down as well. Enraged by the death of their fallen ally, we were soon overwhelmed by a swarm of snake men. It looked to be the end for Vlad and I.

Coming to the rescue were some nearby Vesperians, as well as Amy, Kelly, Turilli and Rufus. It was quite a struggle, and we were still far outnumbered. Senior Tiberius made a brief entrance as well, and we fought the snake men off long enough to get our bearings straight and find out feet. We fled as soon as we were able.
